This is the story of a once-corporate, always-creative word nerd named Amy...
who dreamed of more time with her beautiful babes. So she trusted herself, followed her heart, and took a leap.

Hey there, I’m Amy. This is me with my babes, and this is how my story starts… ⤵
I’m a storyteller for hire and I’ve always had a lot to say.
My family loves to remind me that I was talking before I could walk, belting out the ABCs at my first birthday, and keeping my Nana on the phone for hours as a toddler.
Language has always been at the heart of who I am. Not because I planned to be a teacher or translator, but because I love what words can do —
Build bridges, foster connection, and help people feel understood. I didn’t learn Spanish just for school credit; I learned it because it opened up the world.
That same curiosity shows up in everything I do as a freelance storyteller for social impact businesses and conscious home educator.
I spent more than a decade immersed in corporate HR—deep in people strategy, culture, and communications.
Eventually, I realized I craved something different: more purpose. More presence. And the space to share my voice in an authentic, soulful way.
From Corporate HR to Conscious Entrepreneur and Home Educator
Today, I split my time between two things: writing and editing for purpose-driven leaders, and delivering bilingual language services — from translation to voiceover — for clients who want their message shared with intention and empathy.
Since 2018, I’ve helped 100+ impact-driven leaders shape ideas into stories that people believe in, carry with them, and act on.
I’m a homeschooling mom, traveler, language lover, and believer that business can be a force for good. That flexibility and family don’t have to be at odds with professionalism. And that socially conscious storytelling is a powerful way to connect across lines that usually divide us.
What Socially Conscious Storytelling Means to Me
Socially conscious is the new compelling™ is more than a tagline to me. It’s a commitment. My approach to copywriting and storytelling is grounded in four principles that guide every word I craft:
Intention – Every message has a purpose. I write with clarity of intent so your audience feels guided, not pushed.
Empathy – Words should meet people where they are. I shape copy that honors their needs, emotions, and perspectives.
Clarity – No fluff, no noise. Just communication that distills your story into its most powerful and accessible form.
Authenticity – Your voice matters. I amplify it honestly and transparently, so it resonates across audiences and languages.
And because I work bilingually, each pillar is upheld with cultural integrity — ensuring nothing meaningful gets lost between English and Spanish, or between AI-generated drafts and the human voices they’re meant to represent.
Storytelling lives everywhere. In business, in community, and yes, even around the kitchen table.
Over the years, I’ve studied Spanish since middle school, earned a dual degree in Spanish and International Affairs, and lived in Spain and Latin America.
At home, we’re a multicultural, bilingual family too, and that deeply shapes how I see the world. Professionally, I’ve translated, interpreted, and facilitated HR-related trainings and business communication in both languages for years.
In other words: I’m uniquely qualified to translate your brilliant work and visionary ideas into compelling content.
Whether I’m writing, narrating, translating, or refining AI drafts, my purpose is simple: help you share your story in a way that feels genuine, builds understanding, and moves us forward. Together.
